EK60 Scientific Sounder System
The Simrad EK60 Scientific Sounder is a high performance echo sounder for echo integration, split beam target strength measurement and analysis and reporting, all in one instrument. The EK60 is designed for fish abundance estimation, fish behavior and species studies, mapping of krill and plankton, and with applications in pollution monitoring. The Simrad EK60 includes ER60 echo sounder software utilizing Windows XP operation. EK60 has comprehensive data recording and replay facilities on a new technology base. Two monitors can be connected to each processor. Examples of two standard configurations are given below.
