GP9205, from Olex, combines GPS and GLONASS with Marine Star service from Fugro.
This provides significantly greater positional accuracy than is possible with normal GPS: 10 cm horizontal and 15 cm vertical.
Olexkartlegging with GP9205 provides accurate and repeatable positioning of bottom formations.
By multibeam mapping used on the unique 3D position from GP9205 to compensate for tidal, ocean waves, snowstorms and the ship's draft.
